Design Principles
Visual and Acoustic Harmony. The basic rectangular shape of the cabinet, made from solid MDF, is paired with a slightly curved front baffle and provided with large radiuses. This all leads to a compact but impressive appearance. All forms and materials lead to one harmonious picture. Understatement in shape and color: no focus on single elements, the focus points to the whole thing.

The inimitable JET tweeter. Handcrafted in Kiel, Germany. ELAC’s JET 6 tweeter is used throughout the Solano Series Loudspeakers. This high-frequency driver enthralls with its lightning-fast response and wide dynamic range, offering minimal distortion, lots of headroom, and a distinctly wider frequency range than conventional dome tweeters. The ELAC JET tweeter is one of the most legendary tweeters in the industry and has won international praise with its transparent and effortless sound image.
Aluminum Sandwich Woofer
Lightweight, Rigid, and Clear. This specialized construction brings forth a myriad of benefits, starting with its rigidity and lightweight nature.
