Hybrid Tweeter Module: Wide Dispersion & High Precision
The VOKAL MK2 features a hybrid tweeter system combining a 29 mm soft dome tweeter and a 17 x 45 mm planar tweeter. Mounted on a cast aluminium faceplate, this setup provides detailed highs, exceptional dispersion, and a smooth, natural soundstage.
Wood Fibre Woofer: Clean, Detailed Midrange
The 6½” bass/midrange driver is crafted from a fine paper pulp and reinforced wood fibre composite. This ensures a lightweight yet rigid structure that works with the low-loss surround and suspension system for precise, distortion-free sound reproduction.
Patented SMC Technology: Ultra-Low Distortion
The Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) magnet system significantly reduces mechanical distortion caused by eddy currents and hysteresis. This results in cleaner, more detailed midrange performance and reduced listening fatigue.
Front-Facing Reflex Ports: Flexible Placement
Unlike traditional rear-ported center speakers, the VOKAL MK2 features twin letterbox reflex ports on the front panel. This allows for more compact and flexible placement options, including wall mounting or integration into TV furniture.
